{Ashley and Corey’s Wedding – Part 1 – AV Photography}

Ashley and Corey are such a cute couple! Ashley and I went to high school together and it was great to reconnect with her, meet Corey, and photograph their wedding! Ashley and Corey both live in Chicago right now and they traveled back to Columbus for their wedding in the a beautiful little church in the country. The details of their wedding were amazing and Ashley made such a stunning bride. I loved the detail in her dress.

We got to spend the morning with her while she got ready and were able to get some stunning images! We love photographing brides as they get ready, all the emotions, commotion, and fun makes amazing pictures!

Oh, we forgot to mention before, but Corey is a Marine! At their wedding, they had other Marines there as the ushers and they also had a full sword detail during their recessional! It was amazing!

{Ashley & Drew’s Wedding Part 2 – AV Photography – Cincinnati Ohio}

So remember Ashley, Drew and little Miss R from this post here? Well, A and I have finally gotten around to writing Part Two of their wedding post. And as a way of apologizing for this post taking so long to write, we decided to make it full of pictures! So, without further ado…

Aren’t they the cutest family? Miss R is adorable! They had a beautiful wedding party as well. Everyone was lots of fun, and they couldn’t wait to get the party started!

So while everyone else got ready to be introduced, A and I took a few pictures of just Drew and Ashley. Oh my goodness, They are a breathtaking couple.

Drew and Ashley shared a beautiful first dance together and was later joined by their daughter.

After their first dance, they cut the cake.

…Which Drew ended up wearing more of. But he didn’t seem to mind.

Drew shared a dance with his mother…

…and Ashley shared one with her father.

Then everyone took to the dance floor and the party really got started.

They had an amazing wedding. A and I had a great time and were so glad we got to be a part of their day. Everything was beautiful and we wish Drew, Ashley and Miss R a lifetime of happiness! Congratulations!

{Ashley and Drew’s Wedding Part 1- AV Photography – Cincinnati, Ohio}

On an EXTREMELY hot Saturday in September, A and I traveled to the Manor House in Cincinnati for Ashley and Drew’s wedding. Ashley is the younger sister to Chuck, one of A’s close friends, so we were thrilled when we were asked to photograph her wedding. Her soon-to-be husband is Drew and together they have the cutest little girl. Their afternoon wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful.

All the girls looked beautiful, but one little lady definitely stole the show. Check out the cutie being held by Ashley, little Miss R!

Miss R was so well behaved during the entire wedding, A and I were very impressed with her. She looked absolutely adorable, smiled for pictures, and when she tired of all that, even took a little nap.

{Semi Wordless Wednesday – Wedding Edition – AV Photography}

So, this Wednesday isn’t going to be entirely wordless. A and I just wanted to let you know that we’re still here, we’ve just been super busy lately. With senior, family, and newborn pictures and 2 weddings, we’ve not been able to keep up with the blog as much! We promise to get caught up soon!

{Product Feature – Fearless Bridals – AV Photography – Columbus, Ohio}

It’s about time for another product feature, and this time A and I decided that we would feature our Fearless Bridals session.

What is Fearless Bridals you ask? Well, it’s an up and coming trend in wedding photography. A Fearless Bridal (also know as Trash the Dress or Rock the Frock) session is for Brides that are wanting more non traditional portraits of themselves in a wedding dress. It usually takes place after the wedding, so there is no fear of getting the dress dirty or messed up before the big day. The sky is the limit in these sessions, and they can be as “Fearless” as you’d like them to be. They can take place anywhere from a beautiful park to a trendy urban setting or even a lake or beach. There are also a lot of fun for high school seniors with prom dresses that they don’t know what to do with. The possibilities are endless!

Here’s some examples!

We have a blast with every “Fearless Bridal” session we do. We love it as photographers, because it really allows us to be creative and try new things. Our Brides love it because they don’t have to worry about the stress of the wedding, the get to wear their dress again, and they get to model! Who wouldn’t have a good time?
