Since this is my first Wordless Wednesday, I figured I should explain what it is and what we’re going to do.  Wordless Wednesday is a sort of blogging game where you can showcase a photo (or two), without using any words or descriptions.  Making the entry wordless.  Amanda and I thought it would be fun and a nice way to showcase some additional pictures and have a little fun on the blog every week!

So on to Wordless Wednesday for this week! (Next week we promise it’ll be truly wordless).

  This week’s theme is It’s my party…

When we photograph weddings, while Amanda prefers to photograph the emotions, the people and especially the kids (I like that too),  my favorite thing to photograph is the details of that day.  Details that the bride (and the groom) spends hours deciding upon, details that makes their day the most special day of their lives.  From the flowers and the colors, to the dresses and the favors, all of the details represent the bride and groom and their personalities.  Curtis and Jessica’s wedding was no exception.  I loved the M&M favors that they had for the guests, and I think I am in love with her dress.

Jessica and Curtis, you had a beautiful wedding.  I loved all the details.  It was a perfect backyard wedding, and we had a wonderful time.  Thank you!

Meet Lee and Sarah! Lee has been Amanda’s best friend since they both went to college at CCAD and he is also Curtis’s older brother (from this post here).  Shortly after Curtis’s wedding, we found out that Lee was engaged as well.  Lee and Sarah have been together a while and they actually live out in California! The wedding is taking place at his parent’s house, the same place where Curtis and Jessica got married.  Only this time, instead of a beautiful arbor that Curtis, his dad and brothers built as the backdrop for their wedding, Lee and Sarah are getting married by the gorgeous lake and dock.  I’m so excited because I have so many ideas for Lee and Sarah and they said that they are willing to do whatever I wanted for pictures.   Amanda’s excited for a different reason.  She gets to hang up her camera and be in the wedding!

This is Lee and Sarah at Curtis and Jessica’s wedding! Aren’t they just adorable?

Lee and Sarah, Amanda and I are so excited for your wedding coming up in a few short weeks! We can’t wait!

So, not long ago, Amanda’s best friend in the world, Lee called us.  Lee told us that his brother, Curtis, was getting married and asked if we photograph their wedding.  We were honored and so excited.  Curtis is Lee’s youngest brother, and both him and Jessica are adorable!  They were so much fun as well.  Curtis is a ham in front of the camera and Jessica looked absolutely stunning.  We had an amazing time at their wedding! Now, on to the photos.

First off, the beautiful ladies!

The guys didn’t look to shabby either!

Like I said, Curtis is a ham in front of the camera.  He was only joking when he shot me this look of horror right before the wedding.

Curtis and Jessica, your wedding was beautiful and fun! I loved the backyard ceremony.  Look for part 2 coming soon!

Since we’ve already introduced Miss A in the last post, it’s time to meet her adorable brother Mr. E!  Amanda had a wonderful time playing with Mr. E and his adorable dog, Gracie.  Mr. E had recently taken an interest in football and Amanda captured some wonderful images of him and his football.  That is, until Gracie decided she wanted to play too!

Isn’t he adorable?

We can’t forget about Gracie.  She was so excited to be outside and playing with Amanda and Mr. E, however she still posed nicely for her picture!

The next two are fun pictures of both Mr. E and Miss A.  They are so fun and silly together, there were lots of giggles all session long!

Mr. E, you are adorable! We can’t believe how big you are getting! Thanks for playing football with Amanda (and Gracie).  Can’t wait to see you both again!
